IDENTIFIKASI FAKTOR PENTING DALAM MANAJEMEN MATERIAL PELAKSANAAN PEKERJAAN KONSTRUKSI JALAN

Abstract

Road projects are different from building projects, one of the things that distinguishes road projects is the large amount of material required, the largest material is in the embankment work item. So that material management is needed in road construction which plays an important role in ensuring the smoothness and quality of the project.  This research uses qualitative methods used by in-depth interviews and for data processing using content analysis and quantitative using questionnaires processed by analytical hierarchy process. The results showed that material selection as indicated by the weight value of 31%, this shows that the material selection factor has an important effect in the material management process which also has an impact on the success of construction projects by 56%, which shows that the material spec/quality is very influential on the successful implementation of road construction work. Furthermore, the second important factor in the material management process is maintaining material inventory with a weight value of 16%, this shows that to achieve timely implementation of construction projects, material inventory must be monitored so that there is no delay in the delivery of materials (asphalt) to the road construction project site. The third important factor in the results of this study is the selection of material suppliers, with a weight of 13%, this shows that to achieve low costs with good quality, you must pay attention and consider the material suppliers to be selected.
