The development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology has brought fundamental changes to various sectors of life, including in the domain of international trade law. This study aims to analyze the existence of artificial intelligence in the transformation of international trade law, covering its roles, legal implications, and regulatory challenges arising from AI integration in the global trading system. Normative legal research is used with statute, conceptual, and comparative approaches. Legal materials were collected through library research on international legal instruments, trade agreements, and current scientific literature. The results show that artificial intelligence has transformed the paradigm of international trade law through automation of trade contracts (smart contracts), AI-based dispute resolution systems, and real-time regulatory compliance analysis. The existence of AI also raises new legal issues concerning the legal subjectivity of AI entities, legal liability, data protection, and national digital sovereignty. This study concludes that adaptive international regulatory harmonization is needed to accommodate the role of AI in international trade without disregarding established principles of international trade law.
